National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has also announced Vaccination Policy for Pakistanis Working abroad on Work Visa, Students Studying Abroad (study visa) & Registered Seafarers.

In this regard, NCOC further stated that all Pakistanis over 18 years, who have got work visa for the first time, or already working abroad and have come back on leave or for any reason can get vaccinated as per following procedure.

They must walk-in to any CVC, show passport, visa or iqama to CVC staff. The CVC staff will check passport and visa / iqama, make data entry and administer vaccine.

Eighty-eight more people died of Covid-19 and four thousand and seven new cases have been reported in the country during the last twenty-four hours.

According to the latest statistics, 62,238 tests were carried out during this period showing positivity ratio of 6.43 per cent.

Meanwhile, Sindh government has extended COVID-19 restrictions in the province for another two weeks.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah presided over a meeting of COVID Task Force in Karachi.

It decided that all shopping centers and shops will remain open until 6:00 pm.

Furthermore, it decided ban on tourist spots including Sea-view, Hawkes Bay and amusement parks will stay.

Similarly, the intercity transport will be allowed with 50 per cent occupancy.

The Task Force decided that marriage halls would remain closed till further decision.
