Pakistan asks Saudi Arabia to allow flight operations until March 25.

Around 5000 Pakistanis want to return from Saudi Arabia, while 5000 Pakistanis are currently waiting for a flight to Saudi Arabia.

This compelled Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to approach Saudi Civil Aviation. 

Uncertainty prevails over flight operations amid fear of the coronavirus outbreak.

Hence, CAA requested the continuation of flight operations from Saudi Arabia until March 25.

In this regard, Civil Aviation Authority wrote a letter to Saudi Civil Aviation.

It also cited impossibility of transportation of at around 10,000 passengers to their respective destinations within 72 hours.

Hence, CAA sought that flight operations between the two countries should remain open till March 25.
