FBR extends last date for filing of income tax returns and annual statement

FBR extends last date for filing of income tax returns and annual statement of 2019.

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) announced  extending the last date for filing of income tax returns and annual statement.

It urged for filing the IT returns and annual statements till January 31.

Furthermore, FBR said the extension aims to facilitate tax payers.

Meanwhile, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Shabbar Zaidi in a tweet has said the revenue collection in the first half of current financial year till 31st of December recorded two thousand eighty billion rupees.

He said this is higher by sixteen percent over last year for the same period.
