Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Waqar Ahmed Seth passes away

Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Waqar Ahmed Seth passed away from coronavirus on Thursday night.
His funeral prayers will be offered today at the old Army Stadium ground in Peshawar at 2:30pm.

Justice Seth took oath as the PHC’s top judge in June 2018. He died at the age 59 years.
He presided over a number of high-profile cases, with one of his important judgments being the acquittal of 74 convicts of military courts, most of whom were awarded death sentences.
Meanwhile, President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have expressed their grief over the sad demise of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice.
In a tweet, President Dr Arif Alvi said may his soul rest in peace.
Furthermore, he prayed May Allah give strength to his family to bear this loss.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan also issued a condolence message on Tweet.
He expressed his grief over the sad demise of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court.
Moreover, he conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
