84 more people died of Coronavirus during the last 24 hours in Pakistan.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operation Center, 2,142 people tested Covid positive.

84 more people died of Coronavirus

Lab tests during this period reported these figures after tests of 35,621 people.

The figure of active Covid cases in the country now stood at 462,814.

Moreover, NCOC reported recovery of 415,352 people from the virus.

Meanwhile, Pakistan government announced availability of Corona vaccine from March 2021.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan said this.

He shared this news, while talking to a private television channel.

The SAPM further said the government stays in touch with three companies for purchasing the coronavirus vaccine.

He underlined vaccination to health workers and people of above sixty five years age as priority.

While commenting on second wave of COVID-19, he called it more dangerous.

Dr Faisal Sultan said it has affected a large number of people around the world.

He urged the general public to adopt the SOPs to protect from the virus and contain the pandemic.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan chaired a meeting to review Covid related situation.

The meeting discussed mechanism of copping the spread of COVID-19 and other natural disaster control programs in the province.
