All primary schools and universities to reopen from Monday after closure due to Coronavirus.
Minister for Education & Professional Trainings and National Heritage & Culture Shafqat Mahmood stated this.
Shafqat announces reopening of all universities and primary schools
He said, while talking to the media in Sukkur during his visit to the tomb of Mir Masoom Shah Minaret, a Mughal era’s monument.
He further said that all primary schools and universities will reopen from Monday.
Shafqat Mehmood said the country has witnessed “too much loss of education” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He has said education plays a crucial role in the economic development and growth of a country.
Moreover, the Minister underlined use of technology as crucial to ensure quality education.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, he said Pakistan needs to invest more in education sector in the coming years.
He said use of technology is vital to bridge the educational gap and better teaching methodologies will be helpful to ensure quality education.
Other grade’s students had already begun going to secondary and higher secondary schools.
Notably, they are attending class thrice a week.
