Eligible voters cast votes in by election for Punjab Assembly PP 84 seat from Khushab.

The seat fell vacant due to death of PML-N MPA, Malik Muhammad Waris. He had died due to Covid-19.

According to ECP, by-election at Punjab Assembly constituency, PP-84 Khushab continued under strict Standard Operating Procedures of Covid-19.

Provincial Election Commission further said that a total of eight candidates are vying for the seat.

However, analysts see PTI candidate Sardar Ali Hussain Khan Baloch and Malik Moazzam Sher Kallu of PML-N as key contestants.

The total number of registered voters in the constituency remain 292,687.

The ECP has established 229 polling stations to facilitate the voters.
