Minister says Pakistan values bilateral and friendly relations with Japan.
Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan expressed these views.

During a virtual meeting with the Chief Representative JICA Pakistan Shigeki Furuta, he lauded Japan’s aid.
He said Japanese economic assistance has played a vital role in the socio economic uplift of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Shigeki Furuta said his country’s assistance for Pakistan currently focused on social sector.
Besides, Japanese assistance remain focused on disaster management, water treatment, and infrastructure and agriculture sector.
Meanwhile, Japan has provided 130,000 COVID-19 testing kits to Pakistan.
Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo formally received the rapid testing kits from a Japanese healthcare company.
Pakistan will ensure airlifting the kits from Narita Airport in Tokyo for Islamabad International Airport.
Moreover, National Institute of Health, Islamabad will implement a distribution plan for use of these kits in different healthcare facilities across Pakistan.
