Islamabad: Dengue situation got worsened

The situation getting worse as sharp increase has been witnessed in the dengue cases in federal capital.
During the last 24 hours, more 77 cases have been reported in the city. As per the break-up, 36 dengue cases were reported in urban areas whereas 41 cases were reported in rural areas. The number of patients in PIMS hospital is 258 and 58 cases in Polyclinic while 36 patients are under treatment in Capital Hospital.

The District Health Officer said that there is a need for round-the-year operations to control dengue. “It must be ensured that larvae do not form inside houses and shops. Do not allow to store water in containers, tires or open areas anywhere.
