As per the alert, the first spell of rains is likely to hit Karachi in the first week of July.
The port city is likely to receive downpours under the influence of a medium-level pressure in Arabian Sea on June 30, the weather expert told Geo News.
The first spell of monsoon rains is likely to start on June 27 and will remain in action till July 4 across Pakistan.
Previously, the experts have issued multiple warnings for “more than usual rains” which are expected to lash southern areas of Sindh, including Karachi this year.
On the other hand, the weathermen said that it is a “long-term forecast” that could further change in the future.
Moreover, the maximum temperature is expected to hover between 36 to 37 degree celsius in Karachi.
