Teen burnt alive over land dispute
MULTAN: In a gruesome act of violence in Punjab’s Alipur, Multan, an 18-year-old teen boy, Ehsan Ullah, was allegedly burnt to death by four suspects over long-standing land dispute.
The horrifying incident has sparked widespread outrage and called for swift legal action against the perpetrators.
According to initial reports, the four suspects – Allah Bachaya, Abdul Rasheed, Babu, and Yousuf – tied Ehsan Ullah to a tree, doused him with petrol, and set him ablaze.
Despite valiant efforts to save him, the young man succumbed to his severe injuries at Nishtar Medical Hospital in Multan.
The brutal murder occurred in the jurisdiction of the Seet Pur police station, where Ehsan Ullah’s uncle, Bashir Ahmed, filed a complaint against the suspects.
In a similar incident in Punjab’s Gujranwala district in 2022, a man killed his wife by setting her on fire for failing to give birth to a son.
