How to do biometric verification for vehicle transfer from home – check details

The Pak ID mobile app by NADRA has made it easier for residents of Islamabad to complete vehicle transfers. Now, both sellers and buyers can do their biometric verification from home before visiting the excise office to finalize the process.

This new system aims to make vehicle transfers faster, simpler, and more convenient.

Step-by-Step Guide for Biometric Verification via Pak ID App

1. Download the Pak ID app on your mobile phone.

2. Register an account and log in.

3. Go to Apply Digital Cards on the home screen.

4. Click ICT Vehicles. A list of your registered vehicles in Islamabad will appear.

5. Select the vehicle you want to sell and click Transfer Now.

6. Click Verify Applicant Facial, choose the front or back camera, take a photo, and click Apply.

7. Click Verify Applicant Fingerprint and complete the biometric verification.

8. Applicant details will appear on the screen. Add the CNIC of the purchaser and select the category in Application Processing Executive, then click Submit.

9. After submitting, go to the Application section to get a Tracking ID and PIN Code. Share these with the buyer.

Buyer’s Process

1. Buyer logs in to Pak ID app.

2. Navigate to Government Services > Vehicle Transfer.

3. Enter the Tracking ID and PIN Code and click Get Details. Vehicle details will appear.

4. Complete photo and biometric verification and click Done.

5. Status automatically updates on the seller’s end.

6. If approved, a Pay Now option appears. Buyer pays the fees and downloads the biometric receipt from ID Vault.

7. Buyer visits the Excise office with the receipt and necessary documents to complete the vehicle transfer.

With the Pak ID app, vehicle transfers in Islamabad are now much more convenient, fast, and efficient for everyone involved.
