RAW-Backed Network Busted: 12 Suspects Arrested Across Punjab
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested 12 terrorists from Lahore, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur on charges of being linked to India’s notorious intelligence agency ‘RAW’.
CTD Punjab in this regard claimed that weapons, explosives, and detonators were recovered from the arrested terrorists. Photographs and videos of sensitive places and sensitive institutions were also recovered from the RAW terrorists.
The CTD spokesperson said that photographs, videos, and locations of a madrasa and a festival were also recovered from the terrorists.
Moreover, terrorists Sukhdeep Singh, Azmat, Faizan, Nabil, Abrar, Usman, and Sarfaraz were arrested from Lahore, while terrorist Danish was arrested from Faisalabad, and Fitnaul Hindustan terrorists Rajab, Hashim, Saqib, and Arif were arrested from Bahawalpur.
The spokesperson further added that the terrorists were arrested with the help of a Facebook ID operated from India named Adil. The terrorist, Sukhdeep Singh, was a born Christian who had converted to Islam some time ago.
Furthermore, the terrorists were also heavily funded by the Indian agency RAW. Cases have been registered against the terrorists,, and an investigation has been initiated.
