Rubio: US Will Not Allow Iran to Get Nuclear Weapons

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has reaffirmed that the United States will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear capability under any circumstances. “We cannot allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons,” the secretary stated, emphasizing that the U.S. will continue to act decisively until its strategic objectives are achieved.

Secretary Rubio warned that the next phase of operations will be even more punishing, stating that “the hardest hits are yet to come.” He made it clear that Iran will no longer be allowed to “hide behind” its ballistic missile shield. Currently, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) is actively engaged in an operation to dismantle Iran’s missile and naval capabilities to ensure regional security and the free flow of global shipping.
