Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation to discuss the escalating crisis in the Middle East.

The Prime Minister strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Iran and the regrettable strikes affecting brotherly nations in the Gulf. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to playing a constructive role in resolving the crisis, with both leaders agreeing that all parties must exercise restraint and forbearance to avoid further tension.
Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif briefed President Erdoğan on recent developments in Afghanistan, and both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.
