PTI to Hold APC with Like-Minded Parties Over Petrol Price Increase

Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to convene an APC of like-minded parties on the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

The decision to convene an all-party conference was announced by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar at a press conference.

While holding a press conference along with PTI leaders, Chairman Barrister Gohar said that it has been decided to convene a meeting of like-minded parties on the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

Barrister Gohar said that the government has increased the prices of petroleum products immensely.

He said that there is no doubt that prices fluctuated due to the Iran tension, but prices in Nigeria increased less than ours; prices; we even exceeded Vietnam.

Apart from this, Taimur Saleem Jhagra said that the government has done nothing for the economy in four years. The Prime Minister himself kept announcing the reduction in petrol prices, now he should have announced the increase himself. The Prime Minister can no longer face the people.

On the other hand, PTI members protested in the National Assembly session against the increase in the prices of petroleum products and tore up copies of the agenda.
