Karachi police have introduced strict and extraordinary security measures for alleged drug figure Anmol alias Pinky, widely referred to as the “Cocaine Queen,” following her arrest in a high-profile narcotics case. Authorities have taken these steps amid concerns over possible threats to her safety.

According to reports, a detailed security plan has been implemented at Baghdad Police Station and surrounding areas, where the suspect is currently being held under tight supervision.

The statement noted that “a special security plan has been devised for Pinky’s protection, under which a heavy police presence has been deployed at Baghdad Police Station and surrounding areas.”

Security arrangements are being overseen by a senior SP-level officer, with two SDPOs, three SHOs, and more than 40 police personnel assigned to ensure round-the-clock protection.

Officials also confirmed that snipers have been placed on nearby rooftops and buildings to respond immediately in case of any emergency or attack. Quick Response Force units have been kept on high alert to deal with any unexpected situation.

Additional police personnel have been deployed along all access routes to the police station, while entry has been strictly limited to authorized individuals only. Female officers and additional staff are also part of the two-shift security rotation.

Authorities stated that “extra personnel have been deployed on all routes leading to Baghdad Police Station, while access to the suspect has been restricted to authorized individuals only,” highlighting the strict access control measures in place.

The security plan further assigns SP Lyari the responsibility of overseeing court transfer arrangements, while SDPO Baghdad has been given operational command of the entire security setup. SHOs from Baghdad, Risala, and Garden police stations have been appointed as ground in-charges.

Officials have also ensured backup power systems remain functional at all times to maintain uninterrupted surveillance and security operations.
