Pride of the Nation: The Spirit of the Pakistan Army

The night was cold,

the mountains were dead silent,

somewhere on the mountains of Kargil bullets were echoing like a thunder storm, passing by the darkness like fire balls.

A young son of the green stood tall, courageous, covered in dust, wounded with blood pouring on the ice turning it red, yet unshaken to defend Pakistan!

around him were injured soldiers

but on mind the Defense of Pakistan,

and in front of him, death itself, He is left with some bullets and a grenade.

“The lion of Kargil” Karnal Sher Khan shaheed still roars his gun towards the enemy, running towards them, with no fear at all, the enemies are numerous, Sher Khan Shaheed with some ammunition left.

His uniform is soaked, fresh wounds pouring blood,

He roars,

“Pakistan Zindabad”

The history of Pakistan and its defense cannot be written with ink.

Its written with the blood of Militaries martyrs who fights till the last drop of blood carrying the safety of civilians and the defense of Pakistan, which was taken under an “Ideology” and “Philosophy”.

From the snowy peaks,

to the heating deserts,

from the war of 1965,

to defend Pakistan from proxies.

Pakistan Military has been an “Unbeaten Power” one that never surrenders, fight only to “WIN”.

When terrorist from Balochistan to Israel gets active, its the Pakistan Military who has played a vital role in eradicating the enemy, while we sleep they stay awake.

Because for the Military

Pakistan is not a country on a map,

Its an “Ideology of Jinnah”

Dream of Iqbal,

and the revolutionized effort of millions of Muslims,

Pakistan is a land which was created tearing apart the heart of India by Muslims.

It not just a piece of land its “Heaven for Muslims”.

But even today Pakistan is going through testing times, once again the enemy has attacked Pakistan from all sides, but Pakistan Military once again has changed the perception of the World about Pakistan, eradicated the anti-narrative for Pakistan, proving the World that Pakistan is a “Safe Heaven”.

Field Marshal Asim Munir’s present leadership has changed the narrative and brought Pakistan on the global map as the “Leader” while negotiator in Iran-US War, whether its international Politics or the Business discussions, Pakistan is the part of every action, creating opportunities, better economy and a peaceful Pakistan.

A Military where young men leave their homes knowing they may never return.
A Military where a soldier kisses the forehead of his mother before walking toward the battlefield.
A Military where martyrdom is considered the highest honor.

When Captain Karnal Sher Khan embraced martyrdom, the enemy itself acknowledged his bravery.

Think about that for a moment…

Even the enemy could not deny the courage of a “Pakistani soldiers”.

That is the strength of Pakistan Army.

A strength not measured by weapons.
But by hearts filled with love for the homeland.

Today, as we stand here in peace, let us remember:

Freedom is not free.

Every peaceful morning we wake up to…
Every green flag we proudly wave.
Every breath we take in a free Pakistan.

Has been protected by the sacrifices of our martyrs of Pakistan Military.

Today Pakistan is facing challenges within and across borders, but the strategic decisions and vision of Field Marshal Asim Munir has turned Pakistan into “Unconquerable”. We as a Nation are thankful to Sir Asim Munir for honoring “Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed” titled as “The Lion of Kargil”.

Lets make the country strong and decide today to defend Pakistan on every forum and wipe out the enemies presence from the map of the World.

We pray for all the martyrs of Pakistan ARMY from Shaheed Captain Karnal Sher Khan to all the “Son of the Soil” who smiled and took all the bullets on their bodies, to save Pakistan.
