Pakistan Secured $11 Billion in External Financing

Pakistan has secured $11 billion in external financing between July and April, an increase of around 83 per cent compared with the $6 billion received during the same period last year, briefed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
According to the ministry updated records, the total external inflows included $8.31 billion in non-project financing, while project-related financing stood at $2.7566 billion during the tenure.
Officials said the increase in foreign funding was supported by bilateral and multilateral assistance, along with deferred payment arrangements, and rollovers of existing deposits.
