National Assembly Continues Approval of Budget 2026-27 Funding Demands

The National Assembly come across under Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq remaining the agreement procedure of countless ministries and divisions for the federal budget 2026-27.

Demands worth billions and trillions of rupees for multiple ministries and subordinate agencies were approved by the House such as the Climate Change Division, Commerce Division, Communications Division, Defense and Defense Production, Economic Affairs, Federal Education and Professional Training, Foreign Affairs, Housing and Construction, Human Rights, Interior, Industry and Production, Information and Broadcasting, Information Technology, Inter-Provincial Coordination, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs, Law and Justice, Maritime Affairs, National Assembly, Senate, National Health, Parliamentary Affairs, Planning, Privatization, Railways, Religious Affairs, Science and Technology, Water Resources and Cabinet Division.

The agreements cover Rs 3,067.23 billion for defence, Rs 125 billion for communications, Rs 111.13 billion for railways, and over Rs 177 billion for water resources. For now, the financial demands of further ministries and divisions were also approved while the budget process continued step by step.
