DG ISPR Engages Students at Summer Camp 2026 on National Security and Countering Disinformation

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Ahmed Sharif held a special interactive session with students participating in Summer Camp 2026, where discussions focused on Pakistan’s national security, terrorism and the country’s internal and external security challenges. More than 4,000 students from over 18 cities attended the ISPR Summer Camp, according to officials.

During the session, the DG ISPR highlighted the evolving security environment and emphasized the importance of public awareness regarding national security issues. Participants said they gained a better understanding of the challenges facing Pakistan, including terrorism and what they were told were the roles of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in carrying out terrorist activities, particularly in Balochistan.

The students also discussed the growing spread of misinformation and propaganda in the digital age, stressing the need for greater public awareness to counter false narratives. They expressed support for Pakistan’s armed forces, stating that the entire nation stands alongside the military in the fight against terrorism and in safeguarding the country’s peace and stability.
