Pakistan, China Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

BISHKEK: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.

The two leaders discussed Pakistan-China relations, regional developments and cooperation in international forums.

Ishaq Dar thanked Wang Yi for recognising Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to promote regional peace and stability.

Wang Yi also conveyed his best wishes to Pakistan for its upcoming chairmanship of the SCO Council of Heads of State and for hosting the SCO Summit in 2027.
