Pakistan’s Top Leadership Lauds Security Forces After 12 Militants Killed in Balochistan Operations

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti have praised the security forces for successfully eliminating 12 militants during intelligence-based operations in Washuk and Mastung districts. The leaders commended the forces for their professionalism and resolve in carrying out counterterrorism operations.
President Zardari said the successful operations reflected the determination and operational capabilities of the security forces, adding that the designs of “Fitna al-Hindustan” and its facilitators would be defeated at all costs. He also prayed for lasting peace and stability in the country and for the continued success of the armed forces in safeguarding national security.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the security forces were achieving significant successes in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating all forms of terrorism from Pakistan. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi described the operations as evidence of the forces’ professionalism and bravery, stating that the nation stands united with its security institutions in efforts to restore peace, particularly in Balochistan.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti also hailed the successful operations, saying they demonstrated the security forces’ professional capabilities. He vowed that every conspiracy aimed at destabilizing Balochistan would be thwarted, stressing that there is no place for anti-state elements. Bugti added that combating terrorism is a shared national responsibility and emphasized the need for unity and close coordination among state institutions to ensure peace and protect the lives and property of citizens.
