Ishaq Dar Receives Azerbaijani Ambassador for Farewell Call

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Ambassador of Azerbaijan Khazar Farhadov for a farewell call in Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting, Dar appreciated Ambassador Farhadov’s contributions to further strengthening the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

The deputy prime minister wished the outgoing ambassador success in his future assignment and conveyed his best wishes and personal regards to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Ambassador Farhadov thanked Ishaq Dar for his support and cooperation during his tenure in Pakistan. He also appreciated Pakistan’s efforts and constructive role in promoting durable peace and stability in the region.
