Meta and Pakistan Launch AI Training Program for Small Businesses

Pakistan’s Ministry of IT and Telecommunications and Meta have launched a joint training initiative to help small businesses expand digitally through artificial intelligence and modern technologies. Under the Small Business Growth Academy, more than 1,000 entrepreneurs in nine cities will receive training in AI and digital tools, with a particular focus on women-led businesses, textiles, handicrafts and IT services.

The program will provide entrepreneurs with practical skills to reach online customers, improve marketing strategies and enhance customer services through AI-powered tools. Workshops and online training sessions will be conducted across Pakistan to help small businesses adapt to the rapidly changing digital economy.

The initiative is part of Meta’s broader small-business training program covering 12 Asia-Pacific countries. The promotion of AI and digital skills is expected to expand Pakistani businesses’ access to domestic and international markets while supporting entrepreneurship, economic growth and new employment opportunities.
