Mustafa Kamal Says MQM-P Has Transformed Through Reforms

Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) of today is different from the party of the past, emphasizing that it has undergone significant reforms. Speaking at an MQM-P press conference in Karachi, Kamal said the party had changed its organizational structure and political approach.

“This is not the MQM of the past,” Kamal said, adding that the party had gone through reforms and had even changed its leadership. He presented the leadership change as part of the party’s transformation and efforts to establish a different political identity.

Kamal’s remarks came as MQM-P reiterated its position on the structure of administrative units in Sindh. He said the party does not want Sindh to be divided, while advocating administrative arrangements aimed at improving governance and addressing the needs of the province’s population.
