Pakistanis honour Quaid e Azam on 144th birth anniversary today (Friday).

The nation warmly celebrated the anniversary of Muhammad Ali Jinnah with traditional zeal and fervour.

The government had declared closed national holiday on the day.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25, 1876 in Karachi.

National flag hoisted on principal government buildings throughout the country.

Specially, the people from all walks of life visited his tomb to pay tributes.

Moreover, people remember Quaid-e-Azam for his services.

They lauded his services for the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent.

Meanwhile, President of Pakistan also issued messages on the occasion.

President Dr Arif Alvi tweeted on celebrations the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He further said that we pay him a rich tribute for his role in the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent.

Later, he also addressed a ceremony in connection with Quaid’s birthday in Islamabad on Friday.

President said great countries are built by strong and disciplined nations, which stay committed to grow in every sphere of life with hard work, commitment and sincerity of purpose.

He also called upon the children to study the life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Particularly, he drew their attention to how selflessly Mr. Jinnah struggled hard for the creation of Pakistan.
