Pakistan’s commercial capital receives rain

The weather turned pleasant due to drizzle in various parts of Karachi. 

Drizzle was recorded in various areas of the city including Saddar area, II Chandrigar Road, Old City area, Malir, Landhi and around the National Stadium.

In this regard, Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said there is a possibility of drizzle and light rain today due to western winds. The wind is blowing at a good speed in the city and the speed is likely to increase to 25 to 30 kmph.

Earlier, the Meteorological Department had forecast there is a possibility of drizzle in the city today and tomorrow.

Today, the minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 32 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department said that winds are blowing at a light speed from the south-east and winds are likely to blow at a speed of 18 km per hour during the day time.
