PPP shortlists 3 names for KP governor slot

PPP is considering three possible names for the slot of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor.

According to sources, the names of Faisal Karim Kundi, Shuja Khan and Khawaja Yawar Naseer are in the run for the governorship of KP.

They said that Faisal Karim Kundi is a strong candidate for slot of governor.

It should be remembered that the names of Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Nadeem Afzal Chun are being considered for the governorship of Punjab. It is likely that Kamran Tessori will be retained as Sindh governor.

Regarding the governorships of the four provinces, the matters between the PML-N and the Pakistan People’s Party have been settled.

Pakistan People’s Party will not join the federal cabinet in the first phase and will not take any ministry but will vote for Shehbaz Sharif for the prime ministership.
