1500 prize bond draw first, second winners announced – May 2025

The National Savings Centre in Karachi has announced the lucky winners of the Rs1,500 prize bond draw for May 2025.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan’s rules, the first prize winner will receive Rs3 million, and there are three second prize winners, each getting Rs1 million.

Winners can claim their prizes by visiting any designated bank or National Savings office.

Tax Details

If you’re a tax filer, 15% of the prize money will be deducted as tax. If you’re not a filer, 35% will be deducted.

For Tax Filers (Those who submit tax returns):

• 1st Prize (Rs. 3,000,000) → Tax: Rs. 450,000

• 2nd Prize (Rs. 1,000,000) → Tax: Rs. 150,000

• 3rd Prize (Rs. 18,500) → Tax: Rs. 2,775

For Non-Filers (Those who don’t submit tax returns):

• 1st Prize (Rs. 3,000,000) → Tax: Rs. 900,000

• 2nd Prize (Rs. 1,000,000) → Tax: Rs. 300,000

• 3rd Prize (Rs. 18,500) → Tax: Rs. 5,550
