PTI ready to hold talks with establishment

27 April, 2024 17:28

It looks like the ice is melting as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) agreed to hold talks with the establishment and other political parties.

Sources said that PTI founder Imran Khan has given permission to the party leaders to negotiate under the law and constitution.

The development was shared by senior PTI leader in an exclusive interview, where he believes that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz is trying to frame PTI as enemy in-front of the army.

He said that fighting the army is neither on the agenda nor any such policy of the Imran Khan-led party. The lawyers helped the party a lot but were never involved in the decision-making.

Faraz said that PTI is a political party, it would be better for the political leadership to make decisions.

“The ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz is trying to play tricks that they don’t accept Sher Afzal Marwat that is why Khan suggested naming Hamid Raza’s name for the Public Accounts Committee,” he said.

The PTI leader said that the PAC is the right of Punjab, and a final decision will be taken in a day or two.
