Quaid’s 147th birth anniversary celebrated in Pakistan

Pakistanis are celebrating the 147^th birth anniversary of the founder of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on Monday with passion and enthusiasm.

The day dawned with gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals followed by a change of the guard’s ceremony at Quaid-i-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi.

Special programmes have been arranged by various social, political, governmental and non-governmental organisations and various forums to celebrate the birthday of Pakistan’s founder.

The participants of the events will pay rich tribute to Jinnah for his tireless efforts and visionary leadership.

On the occasion of 147th birthday of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the prime minister and president urged Pakistanis to follow the vision of the founder of the nation.

President Arif Alvi said: “The ongoing situation in the country beckons to follow the vision of the father of the nation and his guiding principles”.

The caretaker PM in a post at X said that Quaid’s principles of ‘unity, faith and discipline’ should be the guiding principles for the nation.
