UAE announces official working hours for Ramazan 2025
In preparation for the holy month of Ramazan 2025, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) in the UAE has announced updated working hours for federal employees.
According to an official circular issued by FAHR, federal ministries and authorities will follow new operating hours: from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays.
The circular further stated that federal departments have the option to implement flexible working arrangements or allow remote work, based on their operational needs, while still adhering to the approved working hours.
Additionally, the circular specified that up to 70% of staff in federal government departments can work from home on Fridays during Ramazan, in line with the regulations set by FAHR.
