School children fell unconscious due to gas leakage

KARACHI: At least 14 children fell unconscious due to gas leakage in a school located in Lyari.

As per the reports of police officials and rescue workers the children of private school fainted due to the gas leakage. The unconscious school children were shifted to the Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

The police officials said, ‘The gas found to be leaked from the power generator of the school.’

According to the hospital authorities the condition of school children was out of danger as all of them had been given medical assistance.

Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori also takes notice of the incident.
