TikToker Samiya Hijab video leaked on social media

18 April, 2025 15:49

Popular Pakistani TikTok personality Samiya Hijab has responded to the recent controversy surrounding an allegedly obscene video circulating on social media. The influencer has firmly denied any connection to the video, asserting that it is both fake and artificially generated.

In a video statement released on her social media platforms, Samiya also accused her former boyfriend of being responsible for spreading the clip.

“I completely deny this video and have nothing to do with it. My character is being deliberately targeted to damage my reputation on social media,” she stated. According to her, the video has been digitally manipulated using advanced editing tools and AI technology to defame her publicly.

Samiya appealed to her fans and followers to disregard the video, calling it baseless and misleading. She also announced her intention to take legal action, adding that she plans to approach the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing to formally register a complaint.

Despite her public denial, the situation has sparked debate online. The authenticity of the video remains unverified, with her accusations against her ex-boyfriend adding another layer of complexity to the matter. While some social media users have expressed sympathy and support, others have cast doubt on her claims, questioning whether the controversy is a genuine case of digital victimization or a calculated publicity stunt.

It’s worth noting that such incidents, involving leaked or controversial content from social media influencers, have become increasingly common. Some observers argue that these controversies are at times orchestrated to gain attention, only to be later denied as part of damage control.

The incident has reignited conversations around online privacy, character assassination, and the safety of women on digital platforms. Civil society members and digital rights activists are calling for stronger implementation of cybercrime laws and immediate recourse for those impacted by such incidents.

As the investigation unfolds, many await clarity on the authenticity of the video and whether the allegations made by Samiya Hijab will lead to any legal consequences.
