Annie Knight Hospitalised with Mystery Illness Days After Surprise Engagement

Annie Knight, a well-known Australian social media personality, is currently in the hospital due to an unknown health issue. The news broke on Wednesday, April 24, after her fiancé Henry Brayshaw shared a photo of her lying in a hospital bed.

In the image posted to Instagram Stories, Annie appeared to be sleeping while wearing a blue hospital gown. She was surrounded by medical monitors. Henry, trying to keep the mood light, added a joking caption that read: “Wonder where the life support switch is?” However, the reason behind Annie’s hospital visit was not shared by either of them.

Annie, 27, is often in the spotlight and has a strong online following. This recent health scare comes shortly after a surprising announcement — she and Henry got engaged just two weeks ago. The proposal came after only one week of officially dating.

The couple’s relationship story caught many people’s attention. Annie revealed the details during an appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show. Speaking to the radio hosts, Annie admitted that she and Henry had only just started dating again, but they’ve known each other for a long time.

She explained that the engagement is not sudden or rushed. “It’s not a shotgun engagement or anything like that. It’s been ten years in the making,” Annie said.

The engagement happened at the end of March during a romantic dinner. Henry, who is the son of well-known Australian sports commentator James Brayshaw, proposed in a sweet and private moment.

Since getting engaged, the couple has been very open about their relationship online. In a recent podcast episode and Instagram post, Annie shared an unexpected detail — she and Henry sleep in separate rooms.

“Henry and I love sleeping in our own beds,” Annie said in an Instagram Reel. “We have separate rooms.” Henry agreed, joking that the situation is “off the cuff.”

Although they don’t always sleep together, Annie said they still enjoy sharing a bed from time to time. “Every once in a while we’ll sleep in the same bed and it’s fine. It’s great. We love it.”

However, Henry described those nights as “pretty wild.” He explained that between Annie’s white noise machine, his rain sound app, and their dog in the bed, sleep becomes a bit of a challenge.

“The whole thing’s pretty wild, to be honest,” Henry said, laughing.

Annie also shared a caption with the video, saying: “When a 5am early bird gets engaged to a FIFO sleepy boy.” She added that having separate beds should be more accepted in relationships if it works for the couple.
