Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre dies by suicide

26 April, 2025 15:26

Virginia Giuffre, who spent over 20 years fighting to expose powerful men connected to Jeffrey Epstein, has died by suicide. Her death leaves those she tried to hold accountable still alive, still free — and sleeping easier tonight.

More than 14 years ago, Virginia bravely accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager. She said Epstein had “loaned” her to him. That moment changed everything. Virginia became a symbol of strength for many survivors and brought global attention to Epstein’s network of abuse.

For years, journalists chased the truth, following leads across New York, the Caribbean, Paris, and England. They spoke to survivors, insiders, and lawyers, uncovering the dark web of Epstein’s world — a network protected by rich and powerful men, not just the actions of one criminal.

Virginia’s voice made the world see a hidden reality. Her story showed how deep the corruption ran — how many turned a blind eye. Even after Epstein and Jean-Luc Brunel died by suicide, many powerful men who were connected to them faced no real consequences.

Sadly, Virginia’s death means these men may never be held accountable. She can no longer testify, file lawsuits, or demand justice. American prosecutors, despite all their promises, never brought the rest of Epstein’s circle to court.

A few weeks ago, Virginia shared a heartbreaking photo from a hospital bed, warning she was “four days from death.” Now, her three children are left without their mother — another cruel chapter in the story of Epstein’s victims.

Virginia didn’t die because she was weak. She died under the heavy weight of the pain and betrayal she had carried for so long. Her death should serve as a wake-up call to authorities: justice must still be pursued for her and for every survivor who still lives in the shadow of Epstein’s crimes.

Virginia Giuffre deserved better. Her fight must not be forgotten.
