Fans Worried About Amanda Owen After TV Interview

Fans of Amanda Owen were left worried after her recent appearance on ITV’s Lorraine. The 50-year-old star looked tired during a live interview from her farm. Viewers shared their concerns on social media, saying something “didn’t seem right”.

Amanda is well known from the Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm, where she appeared with her ex-husband Clive Owen, 69, and their nine children. The couple separated in 2022 after 22 years of marriage. Despite the split, they continue to co-parent and work together on a new series called Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, which airs on More4.

New Show and Busy Life

The new series follows Amanda and Clive as they fix up an old, abandoned farmhouse with help from their children: Raven (23), Reuben (21), Miles (18), Edith (16), Violet (14), Sidney (13), Annas (11), Clemmy (9), and Nancy (8).

During the interview, Amanda talked to host Lorraine Kelly, 65, about family life, co-parenting, and the new show.

She said: “It’s about moving forward. We’ve got space. There’s room to get away from each other, if we’re being honest.

If we got on like a house on fire, we wouldn’t be separated, would we?”

Amanda admitted life isn’t always perfect: “We do reality. Reality has its ups and downs. It’s not all sunshine and springtime. We’re just getting on with our lives and making it up as we go along.”

She said she’s proud of how they are managing and making things work for the children. “It’s about priorities. Life isn’t about perfection. You see the blue sky and lambs behind me, it looks lovely – but inside the house, it’s chaos.

Goats are going through the house. Tumbleweed is blowing through the door. It took me ages to get the kids to school without being covered in lamb poo and snot!”

Amanda added that what matters most is that “everyone is getting on, everyone is happy, and everyone is making it work.”

Fans Share Concerns on Social Media

Some fans watching the show live took to X (formerly Twitter) to express concern. One person wrote: “Is Amanda okay? Something doesn’t seem right.”

Another said: “Wow, Amanda is not looking well at all.”

Others commented that Lorraine Kelly seemed unaware or chose not to mention it.

However, not all comments were negative. Some praised Amanda for being a strong and hardworking mum. “Amanda Owen on #Lorraine – 9 kids in the Dales and still looking incredible. Superwoman,” one fan posted.

Amanda’s TV Journey

Amanda and her family first rose to fame in 2018 with Our Yorkshire Farm on Channel 5. The show followed their lives on Ravenseat Farm in North Yorkshire. It ran for five successful seasons before ending in 2022 after Amanda and Clive’s separation.

After that, a new show featuring Clive and their son Reuben aired in December 2022 called Beyond the Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive. More recently, Reuben: Life in the Dales aired in April 2024.
