The Love Island Australia star, 29, posted a video from inside the theatre while watching Death of a Unicorn alone — noticeably absent from Tammy’s recent 31st birthday bash on the Gold Coast.

Clad in a white hoodie and backwards cap, Matt made it clear he was on a solo outing, marking his first public appearance since buzz began about trouble in the couple’s marriage.

Sources close to the pair have now revealed to Daily Mail Australia that Matt and Tammy are “on a break,” with Matt reportedly moving back to Melbourne. “They’re not calling it quits for good, but they’ve decided to take some space,” an insider shared.

Although Matt recently addressed negativity on social media, saying it led him to take a step back, he has so far avoided commenting on his relationship status. Meanwhile, Tammy appeared to celebrate her birthday without him, surrounded by friends and sharing glam-filled photos — with fans quick to notice Matt’s absence.

Online observers speculated further when Tammy briefly unfollowed Matt on Instagram and deleted several couple photos. The duo have previously unfollowed and re-followed each other multiple times since dating in 2023. Their relationship, though filled with passion, has often made headlines for its ups and downs.

In January, a public argument during the Australian Open reportedly ended with Tammy telling Matt to “get your stuff out of my house,” after which she returned to the Gold Coast without her wedding rings.
