Slovakia-based company Klein Vision has confirmed that its revolutionary Air Car, the world’s first mass-produced flying vehicle, will officially go on sale in early 2026.
The Air Car, a sleek two-seater resembling a sports car, features foldable wings that deploy in just two minutes. It uses a runway for takeoff and transitions seamlessly from road to air travel, showcasing a hybrid gasoline engine system.
Capable of flying up to 18,000 feet, the Air Car reaches an airspeed of 155 mph, while it can run at 124 mph on land thanks to its rear propellers. The company touts this innovation as a game-changer for personal transport.
“The Air Car is a dream come true, a revolutionary step towards making personal air travel accessible to the masses,” said company founder Stephen Klein. “We are connecting the road and the air in a new dimension.”
According to Klein Vision, the price of the flying car will start at $800,000 (approx. PKR 220 million) and may reach up to $1 million (approx. PKR 280 million), based on engine variants and added features. Buyers can choose from three engine capacities: 280 hp, 320 hp, and 340 hp.
Meanwhile, the company is developing the next version, Air Car 2, expected to make its maiden flight in September 2025. Promo images hint at a futuristic and modern design.
Industry analysts predict the global flying car market could soar to $1 trillion by 2040 and potentially hit $9 trillion by 2050, transforming urban mobility by easing road congestion and offering faster travel options.
