Mukul Dev Death Reason: Actor Passes Away at 54 – What Happened to Him?

The film and television world was left heartbroken after actor Mukul Dev passed away late Friday night in Delhi. He was 54 years old. Mukul had been ill for a few days and was admitted to the ICU. Sadly, his condition worsened and he breathed his last in the hospital.

His brother, actor Rahul Dev, confirmed the news on Instagram. He said that Mukul passed away peacefully and the family would hold the last rites on Saturday evening in Delhi. The actor is survived by his daughter Sia Dev, along with siblings Rahul Dev and Rashmi Kaushal.

Friends and fans were shocked. Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who worked with Mukul in Son of Sardaar, shared his grief. “Mukul became very quiet after the death of his parents. He stopped going out or meeting people. His health got worse in the last few days. He was a wonderful person, and we will all miss him deeply,” Vindu said in an interview.

Actress Deepshikha Nagpal, a close friend, also paid tribute. She posted a photo with Mukul on Instagram. “He never said anything about his health. We all talked often in our friends’ WhatsApp group. I woke up to this sad news today and can’t stop crying,” she shared.

Mukul Dev had a long career in TV and films. He was known for roles in R… Rajkumar, Jai Ho, Son of Sardaar, and Yamla Pagla Deewana. He also appeared in popular serials like Kumkum, Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai, and Gharwali Uparwali.

He started his acting career in 1996 with the show Mumkin. He was born in Delhi in a Punjabi family. Mukul was also trained in aeronautics and had a certificate from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Aviation.

He had been away from the limelight in recent years but was planning a comeback with Son of Sardaar 2, starring Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur. His death has left a void in the entertainment industry and among his fans.
