NYPD Fires Female Cop Alisa Bajraktarevic Over Drug Probe Interference and Viral Photo Scandal

24 May, 2025 17:34

May 2, 2025 — NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch has fired Alisa Bajraktarevic, a cop at the center of two major scandals. The 34-year-old officer from Yonkers was officially dismissed earlier this month, according to internal police documents.

Alisa was suspended last year for 30 days. This happened after she tried to stop officers from searching her alleged boyfriend’s car in the Bronx during a drug investigation in 2023. Her boyfriend, Kelvin Hernandez, 33, was arrested at the scene and charged with resisting arrest. At the time, Alisa told officers he was not a drug dealer.

“Narcotics had been watching him,” said a source. “They only knew who she was after she stepped in.”

Long History of Controversies

Alisa had been with the NYPD for 12 years. Her name also came up in a lawsuit she filed against the department. She claimed her career was ruined after a topless photo of her was shared without her permission.

According to the suit, she sent the private photo to Lt. Mark Rivera, a man she briefly dated. He allegedly shared it in a group chat with other officers. The image spread widely throughout the department.

Her legal team says the NYPD did nothing to stop the spread of the photo. They believe this case, along with a s*xual harassment complaint she filed against another supervisor in 2022, led to her being targeted and eventually fired.

“This firing was not about discipline. It was retaliation,” said her lawyer, John Scola.

Social Media and Public Attention

Alisa is also active on Instagram and Reddit, where she has posted suggestive images of herself. In one, she wears a thong bikini in Cancun. Another shows her working out at a Mount Vernon gym. In one post, she called herself a “Thick police officer” and shared a photo highlighting her figure.

Despite the viral attention, she maintains that the NYPD wrongfully punished her. Her lawsuit demands unspecified damages from the city and the two officers involved.

The NYPD has confirmed that Alisa was terminated, but did not give further comments.
