Police Officer in Critical Condition After Collision in Buckinghamshire

A police officer is fighting for his life in hospital after being badly hurt in a crash while on duty in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire.

The incident happened around 10:20 PM on the B416 Bells Hill, between Decies Way and Rogers Lane.

Arrests Made

Three men have been arrested by Thames Valley Police in connection with the crash.

• A 28-year-old and a 38-year-old, both from Slough, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

• A third man, aged 43, also from Slough, was arrested for assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.

Police confirmed on Saturday morning that the injured officer remains in critical condition. His injuries are life-threatening.

Local Reactions

Nearby residents shared what they saw and heard that night.

Allen Horn, 56, a local postman, said: “The neighbours heard a car racing in the cul-de-sac, but no one saw anything. I came out in the morning and the road was closed.”

Another local, Jennifer Tulloch, 79, said: “I only saw blue flashing lights. It’s horrible. I heard the officer is seriously hurt. I don’t think he’s from around here.”
