Who is Salman Farooqi? Influential Man Caught Assaulting Youth in Viral Video

Karachi: A troubling video circulating on social media shows a powerful man, identified as Salman Farooqi, assaulting a young individual publicly in the DHA area.

In the footage, the victim’s sister is seen pleading repeatedly for the attacker to stop, but the man continues the assault.

The incident occurred in the Ittehad Town locality of DHA Karachi.

The video identifies the assailant as Salman Farooqi, who is seen physically attacking a youth while the victim’s sister begs him to cease.

SSP Karachi South, Mahzoor Ali, confirmed that the police learned of the incident through social media, although no formal complaint has been lodged yet.

According to the sources, Salman Farooqi is the CEO of an advertising firm called Bionic Films. Farooqi and his security guard are accused of taking the law into their own hands by attacking the citizen.

Police attempted to arrest Farooqi by raiding his office, but it was found locked. Reports suggest Salman Farooqi may have fled the city.

Officials are also trying to locate the victim and his family to provide assistance for the investigation. Additional raids are ongoing at various locations to capture the suspect.

The case has caused widespread outrage on social media, with many calling for immediate legal action against the accused.
