Truth Behind Aamer Al-Mahdi Mansour Al-Gaddafi Death Rumors Revealed

12 June, 2025 09:56

Rumors about the death of Aamer Al-Mahdi Mansour Al-Gaddafi during Hajj recently went viral on social media, causing widespread concern. However, these claims have now been proven false, and the truth of what actually happened has come to light.

Aamer Al-Gaddafi, a pilgrim from Libya, became the focus of international attention during the recent Hajj season—not due to tragedy, but because of a dramatic and emotional incident at the airport. As pilgrims from across the globe prepared to fly to Saudi Arabia, Aamer was stopped at the immigration counter. The issue stemmed from his surname, “Al-Gaddafi,” which triggered an outdated security alert in the system. The alert dated back to the time of Libya’s civil war and had not been cleared despite the years that had passed.

While other passengers cleared immigration and boarded the flight, Aamer was left behind. The aircraft’s doors closed, and it began taxiing toward the runway. Though officials eventually resolved the security issue, the flight had already taken off, seemingly leaving Aamer’s Hajj dream behind.

A sympathetic security officer tried to console him, saying, “It seems Allah’s will may not be in your favor.” But Aamer Al-Mahdi Mansour Al-Gaddafi remained steadfast, replying, “My intention is to perform Hajj, and by God’s will, I will go.” Refusing to leave the airport, he held onto his faith.

Afterward, news arrived that the plane was returning due to a technical issue. This surprising development reopened the door for Aamer’s journey to continue, reinforcing his belief in divine timing.
