Best known for her role as the co-host of How Clean Is Your House? and appearances on Celebrity Big Brother and I’m A Celebrity, Kim leaves behind a legacy of charisma, controversy, and charm.

Born Patricia Mary Woodburn on March 25, 1942, in Eastney, Hampshire, Kim left home at the age of 16, eventually settling in Liverpool. She worked as a social worker and later as a live-in housekeeper, jobs that unknowingly paved the way for her unexpected television breakthrough.

Kim was discovered by Channel 4 thanks to her practical knowledge and no-nonsense attitude. She became a household name as the co-host of How Clean Is Your House? alongside Aggie MacKenzie, earning the nickname ‘Queen of Clean.’

In a statement, her representatives said: “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.”

Kim’s career wasn’t without controversy. She often made headlines for her unfiltered views on fellow celebrities. In early 2025, she criticized former I’m A Celebrity campmate Gino D’Acampo, alleging inappropriate behavior during their time on the show.
