Body of Missing Weymouth Teenager May Found, Confirms Dorset Police

June 20, 2025 – Dorset Police have confirmed that a body believed to be 14-year-old May, who was reported missing in Weymouth earlier this week, has been found.

May was last seen at around 10pm on Wednesday, June 18, near Old Station Road, Weymouth. Her disappearance sparked a community-wide search and urgent police appeals.

In a statement issued today, police said:

“Officers searching for a missing Weymouth teenager are very sad to update that a body has been found.

May, aged 14, was reported missing having last been seen at around 10pm on Wednesday 18 June 2025 in Old Station Road.

The body is believed to be May and her family has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.

Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of May at this extremely difficult time.”
