One Dead After Knife Attack at Utility Company in Mellrichstadt, Germany

At least one person has died and several others have been injured following a knife attack at a utility company in Mellrichstadt, a small town in the Bavarian region of Germany.

According to local reports from German news outlet Bild, a man armed with a knife attacked employees at Überlandwerke Rhön, a regional utility company. The suspect has been arrested at the scene, and authorities are currently working to identify him and determine his motive.

A spokesperson from the local police department stated: “Caring for the injured is our top priority, as is clarifying the exact circumstances of the crime.”
