On Tuesday, July 8, James arrived at Salisbury Magistrates Court dressed in a beige waistcoat and trousers. She appeared calm and only spoke to confirm her name, age, and address.
Chief Magistrate Stephen Harrison confirmed that because of the serious nature of the charges, the case will be sent to Salisbury Crown Court.
The next court hearing will take place on August 7, 2025, where James will be expected to enter pleas and prepare for trial.
