The United Arab Emirates has dismissed recent claims suggesting that it is offering lifetime Golden Visas to citizens of certain countries. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has called such reports completely baseless.

Some UAE-based and international news outlets had published stories implying relaxed or lifetime Golden Visa benefits. In response, the ICP clarified that “eligibility criteria, conditions, and procedures for obtaining the Golden Visa are clearly outlined under official UAE laws, ministerial decisions, and regulations.”

Only Official Platforms Can Handle Visa Applications

The ICP also reminded the public that all Golden Visa applications must go through official UAE government platforms. The authority said, “no private consultancy or commercial firm, whether based within the UAE or abroad, is authorized to manage or submit applications for the Golden Visa.”

False Claims from Foreign Consultancy

This clarification came after a foreign-based consultancy falsely claimed that lifetime Golden Visas were available through simplified processes via external agents. The ICP strongly denied this and stated that the “assertions are legally baseless and were issued without any coordination with UAE authorities.”

The Authority said it remains committed to a secure and transparent visa application process, only accessible via official digital platforms. It warned that legal action will be taken against anyone spreading misinformation or collecting money from applicants fraudulently.
